PRESS RELEASE
Behler Publications announces the release of Christy Tillery French's second
book of the Bodyguard series, The Bodyguard and the Show Dog. Readers who
enjoy Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, will love Christy's newest
installment of her Bodyguard series. The book is slated for release 6/6/06 and is
available at local bookstores, www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, or
www.behlerpublications.com. This installment pits protection specialist Natasha
Chamberlain against animal abusers and bad guys as she tries to protect Chumley, a
champion Pug with a death threat hanging over his head.
The Bodyguard and the Show Dog is receiving 5-star reviews from professional
reviewers. Brenda Edde of Romance Junkies says: "The Bodyguard and the Show
Dog is a laugh-a-minute story in the best Janet Evanovich style. The situations
that Natasha finds herself in are hilarious, her attempts to balance her
career and her relationship are the makings of an Emmy winning sitcom." Donna Zapf
at Cata Single Titles adds: "French has such a witty twist to her words that I
could not help but devour the whole book in one sitting. The Bodyguard and
the Show Dog is this summer's beach read." And Laurel Johnson, senior reviewer
with Midwest Book Review, says: "Along with the action, suspense and romance we
expect from Ms. French, this book is liberally laced with humor. French
excels at creating very human characters, intense action, provocative story lines,
and sizzling romance."
All of Christy's books center in and around East Tennessee and have been
praised by celebrities such as Dolly Parton and international motion producer John
Savoy. Christy's books are internationally published, as is her poetry. She
resides in Powell, Tennessee with her family and is a small business owner. She
is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Romance Writers of America,

To all my wonderful friends, writing buddies, and support system, please
excuse that I'm not emailing each one of you individually. I've injured my arm and
can't type very well. I wanted to share the great news that I have just
received confirmation that the Futami Shobo Publishing Co. in Japan has offered to
buy the Japanese translation paperback rights for "Chasing Demons". I'm
actually going to receive a traditional advance! The first run will be 15,000
copies!
Thanks to all of you for your continuing support. This couldn't have come at
a better time - I've been in that black hole all authors crawl into sooner or
later, wondering if it's all worth it. This proves it is.
Love,
Christy

"Dear Christy,
Thank you for sending "Chasing Horses" and "Wayne's Dead". Well, you're as
crazy and out there as I am. I really enjoyed reading them riding back from Los
Angeles in my bus. I finished them off here in the big snow storm when I was
snowed in. I enjoyed them very, very much. My sisters and I love the same
books, so I am going to pass them around to them.
Again, thank you for sending them. I love to read so any time you ever have
anything wonderful you know I'd enjoy reading, let me know.
Keep up the good work. It's always great to have people from home do good.
Kindest regards,
